MyBrief Privacy Policy

Effective October 20, 2026

MyBrief ("MyBrief," "we," "us") is a daily email about AI, built around what you tell us about your work. It is operated by FYP LLC, 36 Shadow Brook Ln, Lander, WY 82520. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who helps us run the service, and your choices.

What we collect

Information you give us

Information collected automatically

Information we create

How we use it

Issues may include clearly labeled sponsored sections. We may use your brief to decide which sponsored sections you see. Advertisers do not receive your email address or other personal information.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified information, which no longer identifies you, to study how people use AI, improve our products, and publish insights.

How personalization works

Your answers and feedback shape future issues. An answer may take time to process, or we may ask a clarifying question before it changes your brief. Your activity can suggest tentative interests, which we keep separate from facts you tell us directly. MyBrief uses AI models to process your information and write your issues. Personalization only decides what content you receive.

You can review your current facts and supporting details in Your brief, correct or remove details, and undo changes where available.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run MyBrief, and only what they need:

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. In that case, this policy continues to apply to your information.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't add you to unrelated mailing lists.

Cookies, ads, and tracking

We use session cookies to keep you signed in.

When you visit our website, our advertising partners (Meta and Google) may use cookies, pixels, and similar tools to measure whether our ads lead to signups and to show our ads to relevant people. They may collect information about your visit, such as pages viewed and whether you completed signup, and may combine it with information they collect elsewhere. We don't share your signup answers with them, and we don't use these tools in our emails. You can manage ad preferences in your Meta and Google account settings and in your browser.

Do Not Track: Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. There is no common standard for them, so MyBrief does not currently respond to them.

How long we keep it

We keep your received issues, your brief and its history, and the records explaining why content was chosen for you until you delete your reader data. Raw activity events, temporary snapshots, and inferred interests expire after 90 days. After deletion, we keep a minimal record, such as a suppression entry for your email address, so we don't email you again and can confirm the deletion was completed. Copies in backups are removed as those backups expire.

Your choices

Use Account & preferences to manage delivery, request an export, or request deletion. Exporting your data, deleting it, and signing out everywhere require a confirmation sent to your email.

You can also use the unsubscribe link in any issue or email [email protected].

A login email or a personalized newsletter link can sign you in to your dashboard. Signing in does not resubscribe you or resume paused emails.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including the EU, the UK, and some US states, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your information, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days.

If you're in the EU or UK: we process your information to provide the service you signed up for, for our legitimate interests in improving, securing, and promoting MyBrief, and with your consent where the law requires it, such as for advertising cookies. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

International use

We're based in the United States. Your information is processed there and wherever our service providers operate.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, such as encryption in transit and limited access, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure.

Children

MyBrief is not intended for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete their information.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and notify you by email before they take effect.
